Choose Roster if…
- You have a small roster earning well
- Under 15 artists is free on Roster regardless of how much they earn. On volume-metered pricing, a small but high-earning roster costs us money and costs you a plan.
- You mainly need split sheets and collaborator approvals
- Roster sells a dedicated artist split-sheet plan at $8.99/month with email approvals and signed PDF records. That is a focused product and it is not what we are.
- You already have a payout process you like
- If paying artists is already solved elsewhere, Roster not doing it costs you nothing, and you may prefer the narrower tool.
Choose Royalti.io if…
- You want statements and payment in one system
- Roster generates the statement and hands the payment back to you. We do both, which matters most when you are paying across borders and currencies.
- You have a large roster on modest earnings
- Common for catalogue labels and African indies with long tails. Artist-count pricing punishes exactly that shape; volume pricing does not.
- You want distribution and royalties together
- DDEX delivery is included from Starter up. Roster does not distribute.
